If you want to learn more about using Roam for doing research or working in academia, I've collected a couple of resources for you to check out:

• Academia Roamana is a Discord community of academics using Roam Research with over 400 members
• Cite to Write is my own course on note-taking for people in academia or with similar requirements in terms of rigour and depth. Great for people in the natural or social sciences, for example, but I've taught hundreds of students now, coming from basically any academic field.
• Magical Academic Note-Taking by Lisa-Marie Cabrelli is another great course on note-taking in academia, more targeted towards people in the humanities, and with great lessons on setting up repeatable processes.
