Roam Research has a steep learning curve
Roam is a very powerful tool you can use for many different things.
But with great power doesn't just come great responsibility – you'll need to learn how to use it too.
There are many different Roam Research tutorials out there, both free and paid, and the community tries very hard to make Roam more accessible to more people.
This course is my contribution to that effort: you can learn the very basic features of Roam Research from seven different perspectives.
This way, you do not have to do any transfer and you'll never have to struggle to figure out which features apply to what you are trying to do, and how to apply them.
Use Roam for:
Note-taking
Writing
Research & Academia
Task Management
Project Management
Journaling
Decision Making
Each of these contexts of use comes with its own section in the course. In each section, you will learn the basic features of Roam with examples from that context, allowing you to immediately apply the lessons without any friction.
Currently the course is in active development with new lessons added regularly. Once complete, it will contain about 40 videos across the seven perspectives.
It will also be free forever.
